LIP BLUSH
DURING YOUR APPOINTMENT
Lip blushing is a subtle lip tattoo that uses natural shades of pigment to enhance the beauty of your lips.
The purpose of lip blushing is to:
-
Boost your natural lip color
-
Improve or correct the shape
-
Add definition to lip borders
-
Create the illusion of fullness
During your appointment we will go over all of the steps with you including an in depth consultation, shaping, outlining/drawing in of your lips, color selection, pre numbing and the actual lip blushing procedure. The pre lip draw allows you to feel 100% confident with your results. You will be given an aftercare kit to take home and instructions to follow precisely. Ensure you read all pre-care and preparation before booking your appointment.

LIP POST PROCEDURE:
You will wash lips before bed with luke warm water and unscented soap or cleanser. Apply the aftercare that is given to you by Thirdeye Studio in a thin layer after cleaning. Make sure hands are clean before you touch your lips and wash them. Repeat in the morning. You will continue this for 5 days minimum. Please remember this is a new tattoo and should be cared for like an open wound. Do not over saturate with healing balm and do not let the lips get too dried out.

THINGS TO AVOID POST TREATMENT

No application of any lip makeup for 1 week other than the healing balm that is given to you.
No scratching, picking or licking of dry skin or flakiness.

No activities that will cause extreme sweating for 5 days.
No swimming pools, hot tubs or other bodies of water for 5 days.

Avoid using whitening toothpaste.

FAQ
DOES IT HURT?
Your lips will be numbed with a topical anesthetic (before), and during the procedure to ensure you are completely comfortable. Clients compare the feeling to light scratches, small pinches or a strong lip scrub.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT POST TREATMENT?
You may experience:
-
Swelling
-
Flaking
-
Peeling
-
Dryness
-
Strong pigmentation (a bolder color than you were expecting)
HOW LONG DOES LIP BLUSH LAST?
Typically 2-3 years and will gradually lighten and fade over time, until your lips return to their natural hue.
